Tips for Surviving Quarantine with Toddlers

Sorry for the clickbait, but I have zero tips. Instead, here are 7 cocktail recipes! ;) Kidding!
If you're quarantining with toddlers like I am, you would understand why it took me a while to sit down and write something related to my primary job - motherhood. Can I just say, kudos to all moms out there who are homeschooling their kids! I'm home and Zoomschooling only 1 toddler and I'm already exhausted. Those who have more than one and are in different grades, wow, you deserve monuments for surviving it for almost a year now.
I was writing down a draft on 7 tips and I came up with 2:
Time for yourself
Be kind to yourself
And then I got stuck. Because who am I kidding, I'm just trying to survive this like everyone else. And I honestly don't really know how we can get through this as smoothly as possible, aside from just taking it one day at a time.
I do know that it helps to give time to yourself, however short it may be. A 10 minute yoga or work-out session, a glass of gin & tonic, reading a book or catching up on social media, a bag of chips that you told your kids is spicy so you won't have to share (guilty hahaha), even a long shower, whatever you need when you have a little time for yourself.
And it really, really helps to be kind to yourself. To not compare yourself to all those perfect moms who seem to have it all together and have behaved kids on social media. The tantrums and messy houses and messy moments aren't usually uploaded. You are doing your best. Even if you feel you are not - because you are tired, or sad, or angry, or all of the above - I am sure you are doing the best you can for your kids.
The point is, don't worry, mama if you don't have it all together and are just figuring it out as you go along. Same here ;)
