Super Simple Thai Chicken Basil Stir Fry

We've got a new recipe for you to try out while we're all (mostly) still staying at home. This recipe was derived from a Thai basil chicken fried rice recipe that we've been making for years and we thought we would tweak it and make it into a main dish on its own! Check it out for the step by step:

Ingredients : Oyster suace, red bell pepper, fish sauce, garlic, chicken breast, thai basil leaves

You can just use the sweet bell peppers but if you'd like a little kick to your dish, feel free to add chili peppers or even chili flakes!

Chop up the garlic and the pepper.

Chop up the basil as well and set aside for later. Leave a whole bunch of leaves not chopped up for garnishing.

On medium to high heat, saute the chicken breast (chopped up) in some oil. Sprinkle salt, pepper and some of the oyster and fish sauce. after cooking it for about 5 minutes, set it aside.

Saute the garlic and peppers in the same pan. You may add in the chili flakes here if you want the dish to be spicy.

Add some more oyster and fish sauce into the garlic and pepper.

Add in the chicken and let it all mix and cook for a few more minutes.

Mix in all the chopped basil leaves before you turn the heat off.

Serve up and garnish with the reserved whole basil leaves. Eat up and enjoy!
