7 Places To Get Your Ramen Fix In Cebu

It looks like summer took a little vacation this week, giving us some good ramen weather! Here we list our favorites in the city:

1. Ramen Yushoken

Oakridge Pavilion, Banilad

This has got to be one of our favorite in the city. Thick delicious soup so good to slurp! The Tantan-Men is the best seller (and our favorite)! We also included this in our A.S. Fortuna Food Map before, we really keep coming back to this place!

2. Barikata Ramen Bar

Calyx, IT Park, Lahug

Our other favorite. We love the simplicity of the choices - White, Black or Red ramen in color coordinated bowls. The Black is deliciously garlicky and we love the consistency and taste of their noodles.

3. Sachi Authentic Japanese Ramen and Okonomiyaki

M.L. Quezon Ave., Mandaue City

This not-so-secret hole in the wall is probably more famous for their cheap but really delicious takoyaki and gyoza but we're a fan of their ramen as well!

4. Ikkousha Ramen

Ground Floor, J.Y. Square Mall, Lahug

This is new to the ramen game in Cebu but it already has a good following because of their generous chashu and delicious gyoza. If you like spicy, their God Fire ramens are a must try.

5. Akita Japanese Restaurant

GND Building, F. Cabahug St., Kasambagan

We love how when you enter this cozy restaurant, the owner, Toshiro, greets each and every guest warmly. The restaurant is full with happy customers who are fans of their best seller Miso Ramen. Although we have to say our favorite here is the Butakimchi Don (which is their #2 best seller).

6. Ichiriki Chaya at Fujinoya

Wilson St., Lahug

We love how we can get great coffee and good desserts and now ramen in one of our favorite cafes in Cebu! We love their Chasu Ramen.

7. Hamakaze Collagen Chickensoup

A.S. Fortuna St., Mandaue

We already included this in our A.S. Fortuna Food Map (along with Ramen Yushoken!) but we couldn't not include it in our favorite ramen places. We love that although their broth is lighter, it's still as tasty as other thick ramens. The Tori Paitan Sho-yu Ramen is their best seller.
