Brunch is our favorite meal. Any excuse to eat bacon and pancakes any time of the day, right? Good thing Cebu has a number of good brunch places to choose from. Here are 7 of our favorites!
The Pig and Palm
Michelin starred chef Jason Atherton's addition to his group of restaurants is definitely popular for lunch and dinner, but our favorite time to go there is during cocktail hour and yes, brunch! We love their Avocado Toast and Waffle, eggs & bacon. They have a great selection of coffee and juices as well!
Abaca Baking Company
The pile of breads and pastries that greet you when you enter this store is overwhelming and they don't even have their delicious brunch menu on display! Now opening it's 5th branch in TGU Tower in IT Park, we're glad this brunch place is here to stay. Get the Maple Almond Granola for a healthy start to your day. Or treat yourself to their Buttermilk Waffles, you deserve it.
Birdseed Breakfast Club + Cafe
We already mentioned this cafe in our Escario food map, but we can't not mention it again when we're talking about favorite brunch places in Cebu. Their Baked Eggs & Chorizo is our go-to brunch order.
Yolk - Coffee and Breakfast
Eggs are practically synonymous with breakfast and Yolk serves it in a variety of delicious forms. We love their Chorizo and Eggs in a pan, with garlic fried rice of course! And we recently tried their Homemade Slow-Cooked Corned Beef - a must-try!
This is one of our favorite brunch finds - a small cozy and quirky cafe at the lobby of Mabolo Garden Flats Condominiuim. Their Banana Pancakes tastes like home. Pair it with their refreshing Banana Iced Tea and you've got yourself a winner. Check out their "sari-sari store" for other fun finds as well!
A good cup of coffee paired with freshly-baked Pain au Chocolat sounds like the perfect start to a day - and Tymad serves this with perfection. The early bird catches the out-of-the-oven croissants and Kouign-amann so make sure you don't come too late in the morning. They also serve a variety of delicious crepes, omelettes and a hearty English breakfast if you want to start your day with a savory meal.
Aside from their delicious desserts and shakes, this Cafe serves a mean breakfast selection. And we love that they're on FoodPanda! Perfect for when you want to have breakfast/brunch in the comfort of your home without having to cook. Here we ordered the Crispy Adobo Flakes and Caramelized Spam. Their Spiced Chorizo is also a favorite. As they say in their menu, "because a happy day starts with a hearty breakfast."
