Weave it On: ANTHILL for Islands Souvenirs Cut & Style Fashion Show 2017
Every 3rd Sunday of the month, we here in Cebu celebrate the much anticipated SINULOG festival in honor of our patron saint, Sr. Sto. Nino. The Friday before that, we celebrate local style as Island Souvenirs holds its annual Cut & Style fashion show.

Leave it to Cebuanos to make a plain shirt to wear to the streets fashionable. Island Souvenirs has its own design team ready to add beads, glitter and remove sleeves and backs for your personal fashion statement for the weekend's festivities. They also collaborate with other designers to create a variety of looks yearly.
This year, one of those designers is local social enterprise Anthill Fabric Gallery (which we featured last year in this article). Your 2 co-creators of the7.ph were honored to wear the fabulous creations of Anthill designers Jessica Ouano and Paco Serafica down the runway - which were perfectly paired by gorgeous low block heels from Sala Chaussures. Using gorgeous weave scraps (Princess Ant, Anya Lim is big on no-waste in their gallery), they incorporated them into the iconic Islands Sinulog shirts creating wearable art modeled by Anthill's proud weave wearers. These included your very own Celyn Sala and Maan Briones-Ting, along with the Lazy Chef Chip Lopez, Jackie Tan of Suelas and Joan & Klaire, digital entrepreneur Charina Tan, artist Golda King, Jessica Ouano wearing her own design and Dr. Charles Ting.
