Hello Cebu!

We are two of your locals who love the city and living here.

We also love to scour the internet for things to do, places to go, recipes to try out, fashion to experiment with, and whatnot and have always found it difficult to find articles or sites that were specific to Cebu.

So this is how The 7 was dreamed of. Cebu being at the center of Region 7 and 7 being a lucky number!

The 7 PH is an online venue where Cebuanos get to read about local fashion, find out about the latest and best places to eat out in town, check out simple and delicious recipes, discuss fitness, beauty and so much more. Expect articles relevant to the modern Cebuana who loves life, enjoys the occasional wining and dining, gallivanting around the world and country and a lover of food,fashion,beauty and all things girly. We'd like our readers to think of The7 as the online go-to for all things lifestyle-- the Cebuano way.

We've been having fun writing about the things we enjoy doing in the city and some travel experiences as well. About the Co-founders

Both born and raised in Cebu, the7ph was co-founded and created by Maan and Celyn.

Maan is a licensed physician but is currently on hiatus from her general practice as she ventures into being a housewife and a soon-to-be mother. She is a member of the Cebu Hub of the Global Shapers, the youth arm of the World Economic Forum and is passionate in helping improve the state of Cebu. She loves to travel, try out new restaurants and reads almost anything. She loves living in and going around the city with her husband Charles and their dog, Cookie.

Celyn is a self-confessed shoeaholic and lives out her shoe dreams through her shoe blog lifeisashoe and Sala Chaussures, a shoe brand she co-founded with sister Trifina. She loves traveling and going to the not-so-usual places and has started a #nofiltertravel movement online.
